This setup does exactly as it’s name suggests: it assist the user in their daily life by helping them to remember to take their wallet and keys with them when they leave the house. There are two storage spots: One for the keys, and one for the wallet. The storage for the keys has a weight sensor / button that activates when the keys are laid on top. The wallet storage has a hole in it with a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) which can tell by the amount of light coming through if the wallet is stored or not. The entire setup is turned on or off depending on the input of an ultrasonic sound sensor. This sensor can tell if there is someone standing in front or walking by the sensor. If the sensor activates, the circuit gets turned on indicating the status of both the wallet storage and key storage with LEDs while also turning on an alarm to let the user know that they may have forgotten their stuff. The circuit can work standalone, powered by an external 5V source, or can be run in combination with a device running that runs processing. The processing code outputs a visual indicator to tell the status of both the storage units, while also playing a voice line depending on the status. Built into the processing code, there is a server and client setup so you can connect with another client's device to receive updates when the setup is activated. On the host device there is also a text file which has the last update status with the time printed next to it. This could come in handy in case of theft.
